So it's been just a minute since I posted last. I've been so busy with work and life in general, that I just hadn't found the time to do much posting. However, there is so much going on right now that I'm so excited about; I couldn't just keep it to myself: I sold my truck, which had been a root of some issues as of late, but is now no longer a (maddening) factor. I applied for and got accepted for a new apartment with one of my best friends in the world; that we move into tomorrow! (Yay!) I also interviewed at my favorite store, Free People, for a stylist position, so keep your fingers crossed for me! (I also finally got my hands on the beautiful 'Bonitas Sunshine' dress - as pictured above - and I'm flipping OBSESSED with it. I want to wear it EVERYWHERE.) I am working on a new business venture as well, so I've been all around just excited about life lately.

I'm currently doing some late night packing to the sounds of Grouplove (a glass of sweet tea is all that is keeping me going, mind you) while reminiscing about every item I put away in a cardboard box. The Mister's stuff is a bit more hard-hitting; I miss him terribly. I keep glancing at his handsome, unshaven mug in an old copy of Glamour Magazine... Anyhoo. As I'm packing, I also have to make note of what I'll be needing for my upcoming trip to Italy in December; it'll be Fall/Winter weather for them so I have to pack accordingly: jackets, jeans, long sleeves. The only problem is that I have virtually none of those garments since we really never get to wear thicker, heavier stuff in Houston. The weather is so warm; our Fall and Winter lasts about a week, then its back to humid. I am looking forward to the less exhausting climate in Italy though. Gives me a reason to do some shopping!
