Storms in Houston aren't a novel concept, however as we're (very slowly) transitioning into Fall, they are becoming more frequent. They're actually pretty scary in my opinion, because it doesn't just rain OR pour, its downright floods, and I hate it. As a California girl, the most I'm used to are earthquakes, so when I'm driving down the freeway and see signs that say things like 'hurricane season is here' I have a mini panic attack inside. Luckily the rain didn't last long today and when it was over, we were blessed with a very beautiful sunset that made for gorgeous back-light. Hence why I felt the need to make my incredibly helpful co-worker, Gin, take a picture of my outfit for me. Haven't posted one in some time (I've been dealing with some personal issues that have otherwise occupied my time), so I figured today was a great chance to snap a quick pic. I found this robe while thrift-shopping recently at my favorite local haunt along with the my new favorite pair of lazy boots; the vintage pilazzo jumpsuit, however, made its way into the store on this past warehouse day and I absolutely had to have it!
Also! Katy Perry's father dropped by the store today. We're one of his favorite spots in Montrose/Houston. Makes me feel so proud, I love my job! <3
